Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Presents: Grand Opening Weekend of The Reptiles and Amphibians of the Hudson Highlands
On Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 from 12 until 4pm the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting the Grand Opening Weekend of The Reptiles and Amphibians of the Hudson Highlands at the Museum's Wildlife Education Center, 25 Boulevard, Cornwall-on-Hudson.
There will be crafts for children, bug shaped snacks and fun games. There will also be a special "Meet the Animals" program at 1pm and 2:30pm, each day. Come meet a live reptile or amphibian. This fascinating exhibit introduces the reptiles and amphibians that live in the Hudson Highlands. Learn about the life cycles, diets, habitats and incredible adaptations of these secretive animals. Reptiles and amphibians are particularly sensitive to environmental change. Researchers have documented population declines both locally and worldwide. Learn some simple ways you can help!
"Everyone interested in reptiles and amphibians needs to see this exhibit," encourages Museum Curator, Pam Golben. Museum admission is $3 per person. Members and children under three are free.
