WAMC's The Roundtable Broadcasts Live From The Culinary Institute of America
WAMC/Northeast Public Radio's flagship morning program, The Roundtable, will broadcast live from The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, NY on March 28 between 9am and noon. The Roundtable crew enjoyed last year's appearance at the CIA so much that they are back for more conversation with worldclass chefs and, of course, samples of some great food.
Scheduled guests include representatives from the Culinary Institute of America; Peter Rainsford, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Eve Felder, Associate Dean, David Barry, Lecturing Instructor in Breakfast Cookery, Irena Chalmers, Instructor in Writing and Communications, Gianni Scappin, Lecturing Instructor in Italian Food and Wine, Doug Miller and Vincenzo Lauria, Lecturing Instructor and Assistant Professor in Table Service, Steven Kolpan, Professor in Wine Studies, Kate Cavotti and Alison McLoughlin, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in Baking and Pastry Arts, Paul Wigsten, produce buyer and operates Wigsten Farm in Pleasant Valley, NY and also some prospective and current students. Rich Kleban from the Poughkeepsie Journal will also be joining The Roundtable crew as well as a few other special guests.
Says WAMC's President and CEO Alan Chartock, who looks forward to participating during the visit to the CIA, "We love getting out and meeting people in all of our regions, especially friends like the CIA with its international reputation. We are looking forward to some interesting dialog and the sampling of some culinary treats."
