Photography by April S. Hubbard Exhibit at East Fishkill Library
Please come to the East Fishkill Community Library on Friday April 4, 2008 at 7pm for the opening reception of Photography by April S. Hubbard. Ms. Hubbard's life mission is to create and share beauty, passion and sensuality. Her chosen medium is photography and April has gained a reputation as an accomplished photographer and printer. Her learned technical skills have greatly enhanced her natural sense of design, composition, color and form. Floral and plant photography comprises the bulk of April's most recognized work. Her deep connection and sensitivity to mother earth and all her inhabitants has dictated her favorite subject matter. Her love of gardening inspired April to photograph flowers with emphasis on shape, form and sensuality. Many of her photographs are of the flowers she tends in her own gardens. "I take care of them and they take care of me." The exhibit will run the month of April.
Regular business hours on Friday are 10-6. The Library will reopen at 7pm for the reception. (Sorry, no other library business will be transacted at that time). Please register online at www.eastfishkilllibrary.org or call the Library at 221-9943 for more information. The library is located at 348 Route 376 in Hopewell Junction.
