Boscobel Opens for the Season and the Museum Shop Celebrates With a Sale
Boscobel House and Gardens will open for its new season on Saturday, March 29. In celebration of the opening, the Museum Shop will have an "Opening of the Season" sale from March 29 to April 6, from 10am to 5pm, except for Tuesday, April 1.
Selected items including jewelry, china, lamps, scarves, bags, garden accessories, gift items and more will be discounted up to 50%, many perfect for shower, engagement, and wedding gifts. Known for its unusual and high quality merchandise, the Boscobel Museum Shop will also be displaying new merchandise chosen for the season.
Visitors will also be delighted with the grand views of the Hudson River and the Hudson Highlands. Apple and cherry trees and other spring perennials will be showing signs of awakening.
In addition to regular House and Gardens tours, a series of varied special events throughout the season has been planned at the elegant early nineteenthcentury Federal-style house museum, situated on 68 acres overlooking the Hudson River in Garrison .
Boscobel House and Gardens is located on scenic Route 9D, in Garrison, New York. From April through October, hours are from 9:30am to 5pm, the last tour at 4:15pm. In November and December, hours are from 9:30am to 4pm, the last tour at 3:15pm. The museum, grounds, and gift shop are open every day except Tuesdays, May 18, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
