Garden Conservancy Presents Favorite Ferns Lecture

The Garden Conservancy and Rocky Hills are pleased to present the Rocky Hills Lecture Series: "My Favorite Ferns for the Northeastern Garden," with John Mickel, PhD, on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at the Chappaqua Library.

Come hear John Mickel, senior curator emeritus with the New York Botanical Garden, a world authority on the ferns of Mexico, author, and cold-hardy fern cultivator. The lecture will highlight ferns native to our region and the texture, color, and magic they can bring to your garden. Dr. Mickel's book, Ferns for American Gardens, will be available for purchase. This event is part of the Rocky Hills Lecture Series, presented by The Friends of Rocky Hills, a preservation project of The Garden Conservancy.

For additional details, please contact The Garden Conservancy at (845) 265-2029 or the Chappaqua Library at (914) 238-4779, extension #119.
