Graymoor to Present Weekly Book Discussion Group on Sharing Easter Faith
10 Informal Conversations Based On Doctrines & Beliefs About The Second Coming
Beginning Tuesday, April 1, 2008 and continuing until June 3, 2008, the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center will sponsor a series of discussions on 'Sharing Easter Faith' each Tuesday at 7:30-8:30pm. These ten informal conversations will be based on the book Eschatology and Hope by Rev. Anthony Kelly, C.S.s.R with a different chapter being the focus of each week. All are welcome.
Kelly, a priest of the Redemptorist Order, is professor of theology at the Australian Catholic University. In 2004, he was appointed by the late Pope John Paul II to the Vatican's International National Theological Commission.
Kelly's book, which is part of the Theology in Global Perspective Series published by Orbis Books, explores the role and nature of hope in conjunction with Christian doctrines concerned with the Second Coming, resurrection of the dead or Last Judgment.
