Assn. of Fundraising Professionals Holds Teleconference on Demystifying Online Marketing for Nonprofits
The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Mid Hudson Valley Chapter will hold a teleconference on Thursday, April 10, 2008, Demystifying Online Marketing for Nonprofits by Todd Baker, from 12:30-2:30pm at Hudson River Sloop Clearwater in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Now more than ever, an organization's website is a vital tool for drawing people to your cause and is often the only chance you may have to make a good impression. During this teleconference, participants will gain an understanding of the online philanthropic experience from both the charity and constituent perspective. Participants will learn how charities can leverage Social Networks to attract new people, when nonprofits should integrate their offline marketing online, how charities can really make online fundraising work, how much charities should be investing online, and the right metrics nonprofits should evaluate to ensure success.
The presenter, Todd Baker, is a published author and frequent speaker for nonprofit conferences throughout the world. He has more than two decades of experience with helping some of the top charities in North America, assisting them in the development of Mission-Driven Marketing ™ strategies. He is the author of Champions of Philanthropy and the e-book, "Nonprofit Websites." Baker also writes the Fundraiser Confidential series for Fundraising Success Magazine.
The web conference will take place from 12:30- 2:30pm on April 10 at Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, 112 Little Market Street, Poughkeepsie. Fees are $10/AFP members & $20/nonmembers.
