Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Starts a Family Hiking Club
On Sunday, April 13 from 1pm until 3pm the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting a monthly: Family Hiking Club. Join Environmental Educator Laurel Dodge, for a wonderful afternoon walk in the woods at the Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center, 20 Kenridge Fram Drive, Route 9W, Cornwall. Come bring the family along for exercise and exploration. Share your appreciation for the beauty of the woodlands as spring evolves into summer. Backpacks are recommended for non-walkers. Dress for the weather.
The Family Hiking Club also meets on May 18, June 8, July 13 and August 24 from 1pm until 3pm. Cost: $8. Members: $5. Registrations are required, call (845) 534-5506, ext 204 - Tuesday through Friday, 9am until 4pm. Visit the museum's website at www.hhnaturemuseum.org .
