Spring Treasures Hunt to be Held throughout Cold Spring
Shopkeepers and homeowners alike are invited to sell their wares in sidewalk and tag sales

It's time to clean out your attic and go through those boxes in the basement- the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Spring Treasures Hunt in the village of Cold Spring on Saturday, May 17 from 8am to 4pm. Search through stores and homes for treasures old and new such as antiques, collectibles estate items, knick knacks and much more.

Shopkeepers are invited to hold sidewalk sales (please keep in mind all regular sidewalk regulations are to be enforced) to display their special items and homeowners are encouraged to hold tag sales throughout the village. For those outside of the village, spaces will be available for rent at Mayor's Park ($25 for 10'x20' space, tables not provided).

Official guides/maps will be available at the Cold Spring Visitor Center at the foot of Main Street and at the Julia L. Butterfield Memorial Library at 10 Morris Avenue on the day of the event. You can have your home address listed in the guide/map for $5. (Please make checks payable to the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce.) The event will take place rain or shine. Applications are available at www.coldspringchamber.com and can be mailed to PO Box 36, Cold Spring, NY 10516 or dropped off at The Butterfield Library or Robert's Total Care Salon in the Foodtown shopping center. For more information, please email Executive Director Maureen McGrath at chamberdirector@gmail.com.
