Gloria Smith
Gloria Smith, 73, formerly of Red Hook, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the Putnam Nursing Home in Holmes, NY.
From 1968 until her retirement in 1982, Mrs. Smith was a legal secretary for Weiner & Rider Law Offices in Red Hook.
While living in Red Hook, she was a member of St. Christopher's Church.
Born October 22, 1934, in Cold Spring, she was the daughter of the late Russell B. and Clara (Nataro) Pipitone.
Her husband, Howard Smith, as well as her brother Russell J. Pipitone, predeceased her.
She is survived by one son: Morgan Smith of Woodstock, NY, her sister-in-law: Linda Pipitone of Cold Spring, and her three nieces: Kimberly, Sharon, and Donna.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Friday, Apr. 11, at St. Christopher's Church, Red Hook. Burial was to be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Barrytown, at a later date. There were be no calling hours.
