Den 2 Cub Scouts Presented with Their Wolf Badges

Cub Scouts from Den 2 were presented with their Wolf Badges at the annual Blue and Gold Dinner, held March 29 at the Garrison Firehouse. Pictured above are Nicholas DiPalo, Michael Chefalo, Mario Cofini and Liam Irwin (first row), Jared Wigdor, AJ Vitiello, Luke Junjulas and Anthony Lombardo (second row).
The picture was taken at the local Pinewood Derby in January where Michael Chefalo took home a blue ribbon for the Wolfs. Mario Cofini won honors for Funniest Car, Jared Wigdor was honored for Simplest Design and AJ Vitiello was awarded the prize for Most Colorful. The fast cars of Anthony Lombardo and Luke Junjulas qualified for the District Race in March. The boys worked hard on building their cars and should be very proud.

The Scouts kept busy throughout the winter months. In February, they showed their spirit for the NY Giants at the Young Chef's Academy on Superbowl Sunday. Later that month, they went ice skating at Bear Mountain, where they earned their skating belt loop. In March, the Scouts were very impressive at the indoor rock climbing wall at the Poughkeepsie YMCA. The upcoming months will be a lot of fun for the Scouts and they look forward to working toward their Bear Achievement come September.
