Creating a Field Journal at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum

Pack up your sketchbook and pencils (graphite and color) and hit the trails with Naturalist and Artist, Laurel Dodge on Sunday, April 27 from 1 until 3pm, at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center, 20 Kenridge Farm Drive, Route 9W, Cornwall.

Participants will observe the natural world and create a beautiful record. Come ramble through the woodlands and fields while learning about the structure of plants and trees. Create botanical illustrations with poetic nature writing. There will be sample Journals on display. Please bring a sketchbook, pens or pencils and a sitting pad. This program is recommended for adults and young adults ages 14 and older. Pre-registration required Cost: $5. Members: $3. For registration and information call 845- 534-5506, ext. 204.
