Director of Tibet Aid Joins St. Philip's for Tibet Sunday

On Sunday, April 27, at the 10:30am service, St. Philip's Church in the Highlands will celebrate Tibet Sunday. The guest speaker will be Dr. Kathleen Nolan, Executive Director of Tibet Aid, a relief organization dedicated to providing humanitarian assistance to Tibetans both in Tibet and in exile. Dr. Nolan will address both the congregation and the Sunday School on the plight of Tibetan refugees around the world and the recent unrest in Lhasa.

Anyone interested in learning more about the situation in Tibet is encouraged to attend. Specific outreach opportunities through Tibet Aid to assist those in need will be explored. For further information visit Tibet Aid's website, www.tibetaid.org, or call Beth Kimmel at 809-5060.

St. Philip's Church is located on Route 9D in Garrison, across from the Garrison School.
