Hudson Highlands Nature Museum's Citizen Science Program: Record the Ribbit!
On Saturday, May 3, at 3pm and again at 7pm the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting: Record the Ribbit! Become a "Citizen Scientist" and get involved in real research efforts! This learning experience comes with the added bonus of supporting scientists in their endeavors.
Come to the Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center, 20 Kenridge Farm Drive, Route 9W, Cornwall, to be a part of the first annual frog count being conducted by FrogWatch USA. Learn how to identify frogs by their unique calls. Participants will take a walk to the wetlands, with an Environmental Educator, to survey frog species for this important project. This program is suggested for adults and children ages 7 and up. A flashlight is also recommended for the evening program.
