Transitional Services Fair Takes Place on April 30
The Transitional Services Fair will take place next Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 6-8pm at the PARC Center, 1938 Route Six, Carmel. This is a free event.
If you have a child with a disability from the ages of 14 to 21, this fair is for you.
Have your questions answered about transition services in your community.
Agencies from around the county will be present to discuss transition and adult services for your child. Agencies in attendance will be: PARC, Self Advocacy Association of NY, Ability Beyond Disability, Dutchess County Community College, Taconic DDSO, CAREERS for people with disabilities, Inc., Putnam Independent Living, NYS Commission for the Blind, United Martial Arts Center, Southern Westchester BOCES, The Friends Network, Living Resources, Hudson Valley Community Services, and more.
Dinner and child care provided with a magician to entertain.
Sheryl Frishman, Esq. will be present to hold discussions on Guardianship & Special Needs Trusts.
