Putnam County to Participate in National Day of Prayer
Putnam County will participate in the National Day of Prayer on Thursday. May 1, 2008, at 12 noon at Cornerstone Park, corner of Fair Street, Carmel.
Putnam County Executive Robert J. Bondi will be joined by Sheriff Donald B. Smith, and elected officials from all levels of government in Putnam County.
The National Day of Prayer is an annual event established by an Act of Congress that encourages all Americans to pray for the Nation, its people and its leaders. This is an ecumenical event and all are welcome.
Please join people all across America in praying for our Nation, its people, and our leaders at all levels of government on Thursday. May 1 at 12 noon.
