Club Fit Calendar of Free Community Events - June
Club Fit Jefferson Valley is pleased to offer the following one-of-a-kind events during the month of June. These events are free and open to the public. For more information please visit www.clubfit.com.
Wednesday, June 4: Vascular Screenings Club Fit Jefferson Valley and Northern Westchester Hospital will provide screenings from 11am to 1pm on the peripheral vascular system, which circulates blood throughout the body. The screening involves a "personal risk questionnaire" as well as two blood pressure readings taken from the arm and ankle. The two systolic numbers are calculated to result in an ABI score, which can determine peripheral vascular risk. Preregistration is a must, call (914) 245-4040 ext. 0. Thursday, June 19: Headaches: Causes & Cures "Before you reach for an aspirin, know why you have a headache!" Join chiropractor Dr. Michael Berardis of Berardis Family Chiropractic from 11:30am to 12:30pm as he discusses why not all headaches are the same, foods that can trigger migraines and headaches, and drug-free alternative treatments.. June 1 through June 30: Club Fit Artist Gallery Each month, a local artist is featured in the galleries set up at both Club Fit locations. The community is invited to view the artwork on display, which is sometimes available for sale.
