Invasive Plants: Beware - Presentation at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum
Join the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum on Wednesday May 7, at 7:30pm at the Outdoor Discovery Center Farmhouse, 20 Kenridge Farm Drive, Route 9W, Cornwall, for the May Evening Speakers Series: Why We Should Be Concerned About Invasive Plants! Join Master Gardeners from the Cornell Cooperative Extension and learn what makes a plant invasive, which plants are invasive in our area, and strategies to get rid of invasive plants in the garden. Invasive nonnative plants are a threat to our native ecology causing habitat destruction for native plants and animals. Come learn what you can do.
All May Evening Speakers Series events take place at 7:30pm. at the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center Farmhouse, Route 9W, Cornwall. General admission: $7. Museum members: $4.
