Make Sure Your Facts are True Facts
To the Editor:

I am writing this letter in response to the full page ad in last week's paper from the Philipstown Citizen Alliance. My Father Joe Giachinta is one of the owners of the Gas Station Project on Route 9 & 403. He has developed many buildings along route 9 and they all have the same thing in common, they are all beautifully built and landscaped. The gas station would be no different.

I don't think there is any question that what was there before was an eyesore. If you were to drive by the site today it is an attractive start to a welcome center.

My Father has always donated his time and energy to bettering the community and I hate that he is being portrayed in such a negative light. The ad from the PAC stated many facts that were false and incorrect. When making such drastic allegations you should really make sure your "facts' are actually true facts. I hope that as a community we can all come together and resolve this issue.
