James T. Crowley

James Thomas Crowley of Buchanan, died suddenly on April 19, 2008. He was 51 years old. James was a long time parishioner of St. Christopher's Church in Buchanan. He was the owner/operator of The Glass Shoppe in Buchanan.

During the mid/late 70's and early 80's Jim was Operations Manager of Eric Leiser's The River gate ("Fly Fishing's Finest') on Route 9 in Cold Spring and a resident of Cold Spring during that time.

James is survived by his wife, Mary (Schoenberger), his children Lauren (18), Steven (16), Michael (9) and Candace (6), his mother Barbara of Cortlandt Manor/Fishkill, his brother Thomas (Patty) of Warren, Ohio, sisters Althea (George) Becker of Stormville and Barbara (Peter) Vetoulis of Nelsonville and several nieces and nephews and one great niece. He is predeceased by his son James John and father James T. Crowley. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Christopher's Church in Buchanan and he was laid to rest at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Verplanck. Donations may be made in his memory to (Graymoor) The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, P.O. Box 300, Garrison, New York 10524-0301.
