Blue Horse Repertory Company is a new and innovative professional theatre company, dedicated to continuing the vision of the late actor, Leo Burmester, Founded by his wife, actress/writer, Lora Lee Ecobelli and actress/director, Peggity Price. Blue Horse Rep is an inclusive collage of professional actors, writers and musicians dedicated to the development and workshopping of new works, the performance of classics and the creation of outreach programs for people with special needs, seniors and children. With a commitment to our local citizens, we are pleased to partner with Arts on the Lake. We will continue to enjoin our support of the growing theatrical community in our efforts to insure and support quality theatre in the Hudson Valley.

Arts on the Lake is an umbrella organization formed in Kent, to develop a regional art center for the visual and performing arts, to be a roof and walls for performances exhibits, classes and workshops. Theatre Program Director James Shearwood has developed a monthly vaudeville performance known as Open Mouth: Stand-Up Theatre and has received a grant from the Putnam Arts Council to develop new works based on the stories of the residents of Kent.
