Haldane Destination Imagination Team Selected as International Ambassador
Haldane's Middle School Destination Imagination Team has been selected as an International Ambassador and will host a Team from Crakow, Poland at the Destination Imagination World Championships to be held in Knoxville Tennessee on May 21-24. The Ambassador program pairs an experienced U.S. team with an international competitor to help them find their way around the competition and foster better relations between the U.S. and other countries.
The Haldane students and their Polish counterparts will participate in several formal and informal events to allow two teams from different parts of the globe to become friends and carry a better understanding of their countries home with them. Haldane Team member Weronika Bajsicki is fluent in Polish, so her language skills will come in handy in her role as an Ambassador.
Destination Imagination is an international creative problem solving competition in which teams from around the globe compete to solve complicated problems. State and National champions meet at the Global Finals competition at the end of May in Knoxville, TN to compete and see who has the best solution to the problem.
