O'Neill Chorus Receives Numerous Trophies at Boston Music Festival
The chorus at James I O'Neill High School has added even more trophies to their already crowded music room. Garrison residents Eugenia Copeland, Marion Copeland, Sal Sanca and Will Van Aken were among 33 members of the select, women's and men's choirs who recently participated in Boston's Festival of Music.
Under the direction of Vocal Music Teacher Chris Reynolds, the O'Neill students received an unprecedented number of first place trophies in men's, women's, mixed and madrigal events. In addition to receiving a "superior "rating in three of the four categories, the students also earned the sportsmanship award for exhibiting exemplary behavior and conduct at the competition.
Congratulations to all!
