Putnam Hospital Center Golf Tournament Set for June 23
Mark your calendars now for Monday, June 23, when the Northeastern Anesthesia Services Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Putnam Hospital Center is held at Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury, CT.
Joining lead sponsor Northeastern Anesthesia Services- The Cohn and Artzt Families as grand sponsors are The Leander T. Howes Fund and Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group; major sponsors include Drs. Arun and Vinita Agarwal, Brennan Construction, Camarda Charitable Foundation, Stuart and Anita Feldman- The Louis Feinberg Foundation, Northeast Pathology and The Pegasus Emergency Group of New York and Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group, PLLC. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available for the hospital's fund-raising tournament. Last year's event raised $210,000 for PHC's building project that includes the fivestory patient tower opening in June that will house a new cancer center with radiation therapy, hospital/community conference center, and private patient rooms; renovation of 20,000 square feet of existing space to centralize and enhance clinical programs; and the creation of an additional 400 parking spaces.
The golf tournament is set to begin with a continental breakfast and registration from 9:30 to 11am, followed by a shotgun start at 11:45am. A full barbecue lunch will be provided with assorted beverages and snacks available all afternoon. During the day, there will be a hole-in-one contest and competitions for longest drive and closest to the pin. Following golf, there will be an awards dinner reception, including silent and live auctions as well as raffles and door prizes.
