Improvements at Scenic Hudson's Mount Beacon Park
Access to Fishkill Ridge trails to be limited during construction
Scenic Hudson has contracted with Highland Welding, Inc., of Peekskill, N.Y., to make repairs to the access stairs at the environmental group's Gateway to Mount Beacon Park in the City of Beacon. The work is scheduled to begin in mid- June. Access to the trails of Fishkill Ridge from this popular park will not be possible during construction, which will occur on weekdays between 7am and 4pm. Hikers should note that the trails will be accessible on weekends and after 4pm on weekdays during construction. They thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation while they make this important park improvement.
