Westchester-Putnam School Boards Name Board Members Honored for Their Contributions
Each year the Westchester- Putnam School Boards Association awards, in conjunction with and presented by the local school districts, a certificate that honors the contributions of board members to public education. The certificate states that the recipient, as a school board member, has shown commitment to educational excellence and has shown constructive leadership that has enhanced the quality of education provided to the students in their district. This year the following local school board trustees have been recognized by the Westchester-Putnam School Boards Association School District Awards for Local School Board Members: Putnam Valley CSD: Guy M. Cohen; P/NW BOCES: Joan Austin, Thomas Knight, Rick Kreps, Cathy Lilburne, Sean McGuinness, Cheryl Schwartz.
