Defensive Driving at the Desmond-Fish Library
On Saturday, July 5 from 9:45am to 3:45pm, Rey Maharaj of Digital Defensive Driving will present a defensive driving course at the Desmond-Fish Library. The library is located at the intersection of Routes 403 and 9D in Garrison. This course could save you up to 10% on your insurance, and make you a safer driver. The Empire Safety Council and New York State Division of Motor Vehicles have approved this course. There is a $50 fee (10% of which will go to the library), and students should bring a bag lunch. The Desmond-Fish Library will be closed on Friday, July 4 for Independence Day, but will be open on Saturday, July 5.
