Haldane School Foundation is Never Involved Politically With the Election Process
Dear Editor:

I have always found Joe Barbaro's letters to the editor to be insightful and full of wisdom; I appreciate his constant endeavors to lower our all too high school tax increases of recent years. However, I must take issue with the statement that the "Haldane Foundation" by which I presume he meant the Haldane School Foundation was involved in a NATO style consortium of allies to pass the recent budget. The Haldane School Foundation does not, nor has it ever been involved politically with this or any other election process either through financial contributions or access to our mail and e-mail databases. As outgoing HSF President I must correct the unintentional inaccuracy in the letter in the Wednesday June 25 edition of the PCNR indicating that the HSF was involved in the "Yes" vote.

I look forward to working with Joe and other in the coming years to insure the most cost effective school district possible. For further information on the foundation please visit our website at www.haldaneschoolfoundation.org
