Michelle Grasso Achieves a 4.0 at SUNY Geneseo
Michelle Grasso, a 2006 graduate of Haldane, currently majoring in adolescent education, achieved a 4.0 in the Spring 2008 semester. During the Spring 2008 semester, Michelle took a total of 17 credit hours in classes that involved education studies, a history research seminar, as well as an adolescent psychology development course.
In honor of her academic achievement, Michelle has been named to the Geneseo Presidential List in which all students must have a grade point average of 4.0 for the semester. Earlier in the academic year, Michelle was also inducted into the Golden Key honor society of Geneseo at the end of the Fall 2007 semester. The purpose of the society is to provide a forum for recognizing all exceptional students. The SUNY Geneseo Chapter extends invitations for membership each January to the top 15% of juniors and seniors attending SUNY Geneseo. Michelle was also inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta history honor society. She is the daughter of Louis and Joanne Grasso of Cold Spring.
