Amanda (Maggie) Chesnut Named to Dean's List at Smith College
Amanda (Maggie) Chesnut, daughter of Ann and Richard Chesnut, of Lake Peekskill, was named to the Dean's List at Smith College for her academic achievement for the 2007-08 school year. The Dean's List recognizes those students with grade point averages of 3.333 and above.
Maggie graduated from Putnam Valley High School in 2006 and is majoring in the Study of Women and Gender at Smith. On August 4 she will begin her junior year abroad with the Program for Mexican Culture and Society in Puebla (PMCSP) at the Benemerita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP), in Puebla, Mexico.
