The Tri County Bulldogs 16U baseball team took home the Silver in the USSSA Regional Qualifier tournament held the weekend of June 20 - 22, 2008, earning the right to advance to the next round of competition. Select tournament teams from as far away as Suffolk county on Long Island and as far north as Albany competed in this tournament to try and win the right to advance to the next level of super-regional competition in the world of USSSA tournament baseball.

This Bulldogs team of 15- and 16- year-old ballplayers, drawn from many local towns and high schools, are all some of the top players on their respective high school teams.

The Bulldogs organization, headquartered in Brewster, is a 501c(3) non-profit organization that presently fields 5 teams ranging in age from 13- to 16- year- old players.
