Again Correcting a Misconception re Kaspar Representation

Dear Editor:

I have read Dawn Powell's letter regarding Cimarron Ranch in your July 9, 2008 issue, and must again correct the misconception that I have represented Alexander Kaspar in his litigation against the Town.

As an attorney, I have never represented Mr. Kaspar in any matter; I represented the Cabots, who were absentee owners of the property, in the Supreme Court and in town court. My representation of the Cabots ended in July 2007, when the Supreme Court complaint was dismissed against them upon their sale of the Cimarron property to Mr. Kaspar. As they were no longer involved in the matter, the Cabots took no position on the appeal, and filed no brief.
