Cold Spring Ex Pat Joe Carufe Publishes First Book
Joe Carufe, a Cold Spring native and Haldane graduate whose weekly column, Koo's Korner, was featured in the Putnam County News from 1985-94, has recently had his first novel published. Entitled "Repeat Business", the story involves snowstorms, tropical beaches, reincarnation and murder. The book was published by Inkwater Press, based in Portland, Oregon. It is currently for sale online at Amazon.com and Inkwater Books.com, and will soon be available at both Borders.com and Barnes and Noble.com. Much of the story takes place in the Cold Spring area and also in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
