Political Pals
To the Editor:

This letter is in response to Sam Davis's letter in this paper 2 weeks ago.

It is distressing that Sam Davis believes we can trust him. On July 23, 2008, Sam wrote in this paper, that the TV broadcast of the Galef/Suozzi Property Tax Forum was a real distortion of what occurred that night and it was unfair to Ms. Galef's constituents. Because of her consistent honesty and accessibility he expected better from her.

After receiving a call from Sandy, Sam changed his tune. Now he is saying that she has more creditability and good follow up skills. Because of her willingness to talk and her accessibility, he thinks she makes a better candidate than her opponent.

Sam's staunch liberal ideology has clouded his thoughts and made him irrelevant to the political process. We all know what Sandy says. But, what has she done to make a difference? Look at the whole picture, not whether her opponent is a Democrat or a Republican.
