Where Have Our Children Gone?

Your child is born, raised, schooled in beautiful Putnam County. The first thing they realize after attending 12 years of schooling in the clean fresh air of Putnam County is, they must now leave to continue their education because, this beautiful fresh air county has no higher place of education for them.
So, they begin their search for a place as beautiful as this to get their higher education, sometimes traveling hours across this state to find a place, sadly leave some our state to find their dreams.
After completing 4, sometimes 6-8 years of higher education they come home to this clean fresh air county and once again find that there exists little if no affordable housing, along with limited jobs for them. So, once again, they look other places for their dreams.
What is the problem you see with this? The local, county and federal governments have failed to do anything. Do your elected officials not want to keep our children here to enjoy as we have the clean fresh air of Putnam?
If you fail to take action you will not only lose the bright stars of tomorrow, you will lose their parents as well you are taxing them to he hilt. Wake up and smell the fresh air before its too late.
