Celebrate the Season at the Annual Teatown Fall Festival
Enjoy nature and celebrate autumn at Teatown's annual Fall Festival, on the grounds of beautiful Teatown Lake Reservation in Ossining. This year's festival will be held Saturday October 18, from 10am to 4pm and focuses on family fun while promoting an appreciation for our natural environment and surroundings.
There will be plenty to do: create eco-crafts, carve a pumpkin, dress a scarecrow, take a scenic hayride, learn about Hudson Valley wildlife, meet Muscoot farm animals, ride the SavATree zipline, and dance to musical entertainment by David Rinaldi & the Fireflies, the Andy Myers Group and Music by Mommies. You can do all this, and more, while learning about nature during the autumn season!
Festival-goers can explore an expanded Teatown Marketplace which will be bustling with Teatown Tea, Tom Cat Bakery breads, lavender, apples, cider and other seasonal goodies.
Free parking and shuttle buses will transport participants from the IBM parking lot on Route 134, just east of the Taconic Parkway. Special thanks to Con Edison for sponsoring Teatown's Fall Education Programs.
Teatown offers a children's Funpass for $20, which includes admission and passes for six activities, including a hayride, face painting, pumpkin carving and crafts. General admission is just $8 for adults and $5 for children.
All funds raised at the Festival will directly benefit Teatown's environmental education programs. For more information about the Festival, or for directions, please call Teatown at (914) 762-2912, ext. 110, or visit www.teatown.org.
