Digital Defensive Driving at the Desmond-Fish Library
Digital Defensive Driving will present an Empire Safety Council Accident Prevention workshop at the Desmond-Fish Library in Garrison on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 9:45am to 3:45pm. There is a $50 fee, and participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch. Young Adults (16 to 21 years) pay half price ($25) when accompanied by an adult. Many young people are involved in accidents in their first year of driving, and this may be a way to bring that statistic down.
Digital Defensive Driving is approved by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. This course qualifies individuals for point and insurance reductions of up to 10% off liability insurance. Their techniques for driving in inclement weather may be especially useful during New York winters. Please register at www.digitaldefensivedriving.com, the instructor's website, or by calling 845-895-5098. The Desmond-Fish Library is located at 472 Route 403 (at the intersection with 9D) in Garrison.
