Blessing and Planting of Spring Bulbs at Graymoor
In the spirit of St. Francis, the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement are encouraging the cultivation of flowers as a means of deepening humankind's relationship and responsibility to creation and to God by holding a blessing and planting of bulbs on Sunday, October 19 immediately after the 11am Mass in Pilgrim Hall. Participants are welcome to bring Spring flowering bulbs and a trowel/bulb planter and to pick a spot at Graymoor where they may plant tulips, daffodils, or other flowers that will bloom gorgeously next Spring. .
