138 Employees, 9 Retirees Honored by Putnam Hospital Center
One hundred thirty-eight employees who work at Putnam Hospital Center were recently recognized at a dinner reception for their years of service to the Carmel hospital. In addition, nine retirees were honored for their dedication to Putnam County's only acute care hospital and largest employer.
PHC President and CEO Donna M. McGregor, PHC Chairman of the Board of Directors John W. Neubauer, Health Quest President and CEO Michael T. Weber, and PHC Medical Staff President Eric Teitel, MD, each spoke at the event, thanking the employees for their efforts on behalf of Putnam Hospital Center. Recognition awards were presented to the employees who are celebrating their 40-, 30-, 25-, 20-, 15-, 10- and 5-year service anniversaries.
Hedy Helen McCloskey led the honorees with 40 years of service to the organization, followed by Anita Minella and Judy Walton with 30 years each. Theresa Bell, Norma Castriota, Mary Clinch-Bobrowski, Debra DaGata, Catherine Lewis, Shirley Noseworthy, Jean Roberts, Suzanne Smith, Susan Sullivan, and Christine Wetzel were recognized for having worked 25 years at PHC.
Twelve employees were honored for their 20 years of service to the hospital—Katherine Castaldo, Ann Marie Colonna, Eileen Fallon, Connie Funk, Cynthia Kaiser-Mullen, Linda Lipiro, Nancy McManus, Patricia Miller, Diane Noonan, Richard Pottberg, Laura Staino, and Barbara Vigliotti.
Sixteen employees were recognized for their 15 years of service to the hospital: Pauline Bixler-Schuman, Michael Connor, Arlene Molnar, Ellen Mosca, Bernadette Muller, Colleen O'Leary, Karen Roos, Judith Rossiter, Catherine Salerno, Maureen Simington, Michael Stanek, Drew Stuart, Raffaela Vara, Audrey Vega, Edward Walsh, and Maria Zeolla.
Ten-year awardees included Susan Anderson, Imelda Arbeely, Patricia Bailey, Rhodora Behrendt, Merly Blasco, Dina Bocchio, Christopher Bunyea, Jean Chelala, Janet Deuell, Evangelina Dominick, Melissa Domoy, Susan Frommelt, Garie Galaraga, Susan Galaraga, Anne Gaya, Anne Geil, Elizabeth Gianoulis, Sharon Gilchrist, Sharay Ann Glatz, Jessy Gonzalez, Abdou Goudiaby, Joanne Greene, Sophie Hanna, Sarah Johnson- Burns, Jorge Lemus, Dawn Lindsey, Paul Maass, Alva McLeod-Scott, Kelly McMahon, Barbara Morgia, Janet Marie Owsiany, Angelina Pennella, Erica Perpetua, Elizabeth Picone, Albert Sonnberger, Manuel Sunun, Mary Torres Sherry, Cindy Vargas, Mariusz Wilk, and Debra Woods.

In addition, nine retirees were honored for their years of service to the hospital: Joan Prisco ( 42 years of service), Kathleen McDonald (38 years of service), Margaret Sartoris (33 years of service), Louise Panaro (27 years of service), Alma Quinlan (27 years of service), Patricia Jones (22 years of service), Lynda Schrader (21 years of service), Bonnie Holt (14 years of service), and Jean Spiridigliozzi (5 years of service).
