Fourth Unitarians Host Traces of the Trade Film Screening
The Fourth Unitarian Society of Westchester and The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Briarcliff, Croton and Ossining are co-hosting the showing of the film Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North. Filmmaker Katrina Browne discovers that her New England ancestors were the largest slave-trading family in U.S. history. Stephen Holden of the New York Times says "The implications of the film are devastating."
