Alia Sonara Named to Dean's List at Johns Hopkins
Alia Sonara of Putnam Valley was named to the Dean's list for the spring 2008 semester of The Johns Hopkins University. To be selected for this honor, a student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Alia Sonara is the daughter of Husein Sonara and attended Hackley School in Tarrytown. Sonara, who is majoring in philosophy, will graduate in May 2009.
