Haldane School Foundation Celebrates the Arts at Glynwood Center

Over one hundred supporters of the art, music and theater programs at the Haldane Central School District attended a benefit on October 4, 2008 at Glynwood Center in Cold Spring. The main house was abuzz with guests enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while exploring the many silent auction items up for bid.

The stunning view from the vista served as the perfect backdrop for performances by talented Haldane students Caroline Casparian (Clarinet Solo), Laura Bach (soprano), Laura Gunder & Brigit O'Malley (Flute Duet), Shauna Kalantri (soprano), Elizabeth Richter (soprano), Caitriona Daly (soprano), Mary Mechalakos (alto) and Gregory Casement (Drum Set Solo).

Isabel Lopatin of Glynwood Center was on hand to educate guests regarding the history of the property as well as Glynwood Center's latest agricultural initiative. Guests were treated to a spectacular evening and the fundraiser was a great success.

The Haldane School Foundation is a community based, nonprofit

organization that raises funds to enhance the excellence of the Haldane Central School District. For more information or to make a donation see www.haldaneschoolfoundation.org.
