Briana Harrold Sparkles at Track Sectionals
Senior Briana Harrold ended her Haldane Winter Track career at the Armory Track on Sunday February 8 in grand style. Brianna won the Girls Triple Jump Championship, receiving her Section Champ title with a Haldane recordbreaking jump of 32 feet 2 inches. She also set a new Haldane school record in the Girls 300 meter run. She was also a member of the school record-setting 4 x 200 meter relay team of Quinn Kohut, Kayla Moran and Tatiana Gilmartin. Everett E. Young
Everett E. Young, 80, of Equinunk, died on February 3, 2009, in Honesdale, PA. He was born on December 29, 1928 in Braman, PA, the son of Coe F. and Dorothy (Layton) Young. He married Ellen Goodwin on March 21, 1953 in Equinunk, PA. Everett was in the U.S. Army and served time in Germany. Full Story
