Isabel Coull Romanelli

Isabel Coull Romanelli, 88, formerly of Cold Spring, passed away on February 16, 2009 at Staten Island University Hospital. She was born in New York City, July 3, 1920, the daughter of the late Charles and Lizzie Lard Coull, Sr.

She moved to Cold Spring as a child, where she attended Haldane School and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown. She worked for many years at the Beacon Hat Factory, Beacon, until her marriage to Carmine Romanelli, in February, 1959. He died in 1988. They moved to New York City and then to Staten Island where she was a longtime member of the Cavalry Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded by her brother, Charles Coull, Jr. and Christina Coull Dahlia. She is survived by her son Mark; stepson Carmine and wife; sister Elizabeth Coull Geralds of Fishkill; nieces Dawn Gerald Personeus, Fishkill, Joan Dahlia Tomlin, Beacon and Jane Dahlia Bloom, Massachusetts. Also nephews Bruce and Arnold Coull, South Carolina.

Burial was February 19, 2009 in St. Peters, West Brighton, Staten Island.
