Putnam's Top Doc Says Don't Panic
Putnam Commissioner of Health Dr. Sherlita Amler has urged the public not to panic in the wake of Gov. David Paterson's State of Emergency declaration over swine flu. Grabbed in Garrison
N.J. man accused in friend's death is nabbed
A New Jersey man charged with reckless manslaughter after allegedly injecting his friend with heroin is back in the Garden State today to answer the charges after being arrested in Garrison. The Putnam County Sheriff's Department nabbed Peter Treitler, 23, of Woodcliff Lake, at an undisclosed location in the quiet western Putnam community last Thursday. Full Story
