Putnam's Top Doc Says Don't Panic
Putnam Commissioner of Health Dr. Sherlita Amler has urged the public not to panic in the wake of Gov. David Paterson's State of Emergency declaration over swine flu. Dr. Amler told the PCN&R the executive order allows the governor to "loosen some restrictions that might hinder a county's ability to provide vaccine to the public. Full Story

There will be a brief ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at 11am, at the Veterans Memorial located on the lawn of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Cold Spring. Veterans' organizations since 1918 have always honored veterans on the 11th day, 11th hour, of November. Full Story

PV Ends Season in a Disappointing Fashion
After finishing their season at the .500 mark (3-3) and losing their only sectional game against Dobbs Ferry, Putnam Valley football had one more game to play versus a Rye Neck team that seemed weaker than the Tigers. Full Story
Blue Devils Soccer Heads to Sectionals
A season of dedication and hard work paid off as the Haldane Varsity Boys Soccer Team now heads to Sectionals. On Tuesday, November 3, Haldane takes on Valhalla at 4:30pm at Valhalla. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Tuckahoe/ Blind Brook game on Thursday, November 5, with finals on Saturday, November 7. Full Story
