Bereavement groups are offered to support those who are dealing with a loss of a special someone. They provide support, encouragement, and education in the journey towards healing. Services are provided free of charge. For additional information please call Valerie Braun at 914-666-4228, ext. 492.

Any Loss/General Bereavement:

• Mt. Kisco-Northern Westchester Hospital on the second Wednesday of each month; the next meetings will be held on November 11, and December 9.

•Carmel - Putnam Hospital Center on the second Monday of each month; the next meetings will take place on November 9 and December 14.

•Tarrytown-540 White Plains Road on the second Tuesday of each month; the next meetings will be held on November 10 and December 15.

Loss of Spouse:

•Carmel - Putnam Hospital Center on the fourth Monday of each month; the next meetings will be held on November 23 and December 28.

•Brewster-Trinity Lutheran Church on the first Friday of each month; the next meetings will be held on November 6 and December 4.

The Caring Circle: An ongoing, supportive program for grieving children and their families. Age-specific peer groups utilize discussion and activities to provide a safe environment to foster healthy grieving and promote healing for both children and adults.

•Yorktown - Yorktown Presbyterian Church on alternate Wednesdays. Upcoming meetings will be held on November 4 and 18; and December 2, 16, and 30.

The Maggie Rose Perinatal Bereavement Support Program: A perinatal bereavement support program for families who have experienced the loss of a baby during pregnancy, at birth, or shortly after birth.

•Yorktown - Yorktown Presbyterian Church on alternate Wednesdays. Upcoming meetings will be held on November 4 and 18; and December 2, 16, and 3.

•Tarrytown- 540 White Plains Road on the second Tuesday of each month. Upcoming meetings will be held on November 10 and December 8.
