Lady Blue Devils Turn it Around, Winning Last Two
Over the last few weeks Haldane's Lady Blue Devils basketball team has played several meaningful games. Their record is now eight wins and six losses. They started off their season against Valhalla at home. The Lady Blue Devils were leading at half time, however during the second half Haldane's defense was slowly picked apart by the Valhalla offense. Full Story
Six Champs are Crowned in K of C Free Throw
Six boys and girls from Philipstown were named local champions of the 2010 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship and have earned the right to compete at the district level on February 6 with an eye toward moving on to the regional, downstate, and state levels of competition. Full Story
Loretto 4th Grade 'Blue' Boys Knock Off Armonk
On Saturday, January 30, the 4th grade Loretto "Blue" boys team traveled to Armonk to take on the second place team in their league—St. Patrick's— who sported a 7-2 record entering the contest. Right out of the gate Loretto capitalized on its hard work on the defensive side of the ball and their work on rebounding to take an early lead. Full Story

On Sunday, January 31, the 3rd grade Our Lady of Loretto boys team hosted St. Patrick's from Armonk in a game they won easily earlier in the season. However, St. Patrick's had their best player returning to the lineup for this match. Full Story
