New Zoning Draft Released
“The Town of Philipstown is hereby divided into the following land use and overlay districts . . . ” (language from the proposed zoning law)
Philipstown’s latest zoning code redraft imposes some new restrictions on businesses and property development while easing others, exempting properties less than 30 acres in size from “open space overlay” inclusion. At 108 pages, the new draft is the same length as its August 2009 predecessor and is no less complex than the earlier version.
