David A. Lauchaire

David A. Lauchaire, age 58, of New Paltz, died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh.
Mr. Lauchaire was born October 22, 1951 in New York, NY, the son of the late Theodore and the late Emily (Kider) Lauchaire and his late step-father, Theodore VanDamm. 
He served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1971 and retired from the U.S. Post Office, Rosendale, NY. in 2004.
He is survived by one daughter: Dawn M. Lauchaire of Pine Bush, NY and three sons: Michael and wife, Allison Lauchaire of New Paltz, NY; Ryan Lauchaire of New Paltz, NY; Lincoln Lauchaire Kelly of New Paltz, NY; Granddaughter; Sadie Lauchaire of New Paltz, NY; two sisters: Diane Albignano of Franklin Square, NY, Penelope and James Courchesne; two Brothers & Sister-in-laws; Robert and Sherry VanDamm; and Christopher and Anne VanDamm; and Fiancee’ Patty Klubnick of Beacon, NY.
Calling hours will be Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 1-4pm at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz. The funeral will be held on Monday, October 25, at 10am at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc. Cremation will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
